Offseason’s second outing comes from IZC - longstanding purveyor of underground dance music with his Dubsquare imprint.

"5 a.m." is his very own interpretation of the UK hardcore continuum - marrying woofer-rattling sub bass with Basic Channel-school minor chord pads and a swung skeleton beat, following an interesting flow model that complements the otherworldly synth stabs, while leaving just enough space to still retain a certain danceability.

"5 a.m. (Version)" completely strips away the beat and is as well a nod towards Jamaican reggae versionism as to Wiley’s devil mix approach, leaving even more space for the weighty bassline letting the pads and synths expand to draw you into the zone.
