Imagine Mark Fell and Shed in his Panamax disguise having a late night stint at the BBC workshop and you’re almost there. Speaking of the latter, „Fielding Chase“ is cleverly sampling Delia Derbyshire, perfectly setting the mood for a pretty much unsettling reductionist piece focussing on punishing hats, relentless sub and reversed minor chord stabs sucking in the air that has been moved by the bass.

„Kept Galore“ is upping the tempo into jungle-regions and has only the absolute minimum of ingredients necessary for a track but with the enormous depth created by the space between the kick and snare there isn’t really a need for anything more.
